Welcome to the Bureau of Indian Education’s website. It is a privilege to serve as Director of the BIE and an honor to serve our students and staff. The BIE employs thousands of teachers, administrators, and support personnel across the United States.

Bia education grants. Programs administered by either Tribes or Indian Affairs through the Bureau of Indian Education include an education system consisting of 183 schools and dormitories educating approximately 42,000 elementary and secondary students and 28 tribal colleges, universities, and post-secondary schools.

2021 was a record-setting year for small businesses. According to statistics from the U.S. Census Bureau, more than 5.4 million new business applications were filed that year — and the trend is only set to continue.

Textbook Grant. Higher education students enrolled in undergraduate, graduate or doctoral programs may be eligible for textbook funding. Students must maintain at least a 2.0 GPA to qualify. Students enrolled in three to 11 hours may be awarded up to $250 per term.
