I have also heard Canik isn't typically as "snappy" when comparing against other equivalent guns. My concern is how that since it is a brand new design, do I need to be hesitant since some of the previous micro guns from different brands had big issues with their initial releases? The top gun is a fullsize SAR9 with manual safety. By far the best polymer gun I've ever owned (Glock 17,19,27,30S, XD45, M&P9, XDs9, CZ P07). I have the TP9 DA, as well as the Elite Combat and Elite SC. The DA is a true DA/SA gun, similar to many hammer fired weapons like your sig p226. . Its basically a Walther P99 clone, but alot less expensive, yet just as good. , TLDR buy the Canik and spend the savings on practice ammo. I've got one. And its Glock equivalent. I prefer the Canik. Equally reliable, better trigger, feels better in my hand. The Glock has better sights and is easier to find holsters and other accessories for.
